Repères Éducatifs est une organisation non gouvernementale à vocation internationale créée le 27 août 2016 à la Commission Nationale de l’UNESCO à Yaoundé (Cameroun), dédiée à la promotion de l'éducation comme un intrant essentiel pouvant entraîner la construction d’une société de paix et un développement social qualitatif et intégral. L'objet de cette association est de soutenir les dynamiques sociales d'éducation et de contribuer par une éducation de qualité à l’épanouissement moral et professionnel des populations.

Contexte et justificatif

Alors que les régions du Sud-Ouest et du Nord-Ouest, mais aussi celle du Nord et de l’Extrême-Nord sont affectées par une crise humanitaire grandissante causée par l’insécurité qui y prévaut depuis 2016, l’organisation Repères Educatifs souhaite mettre en place une action permettant à la majorité de jeunes de pouvoir poursuivre leurs formations académiques sans craindre les affres de l’insécurité. Dans cette perspective Repères Educatifs a été associé à l’ensemble des organisations qui participent à l’action du Bureau des Nations Unies pour la Coordination des Affaires Humanitaires (UNOCHA) afin de contribuer au soutien des populations.

C’est dans ce cadre que le projet Supportive Digital School (SDS) for South West and North West région a été planifié. Ce projet vise à encourager les enfants et les jeunes des régions ainsi instables ou n’ayant pas la possibilité matérielle pour y parvenir à poursuivre leurs formations académiques et professionnelles en utilisant des moyens alternatifs grâce au soutien des partenaires de l’éducation.

Dès lors, il se pose un besoin d’information et de mobilisation des populations dans les régions concernées en vue de promouvoir la scolarisation, la reprise ou la poursuite des études scolaires.

Intitulé du poste : Chargé de la communication locale

Nombre de postes vacants: 10 par région mentionnée

Responsabilités:

1. Collecter l’information sur les jeunes non-scolarisés dans la région notamment en provenance des régions susmentionnées;
2. Contribuer à l’élaboration d’une base de données sur les jeunes non-scolarisés dans la région ;
3. Promouvoir l’éducation au sein d’une audience locale ;
4. Être un point de relai entre Repères Educatifs et les personnes nécessiteuses présentant un besoin en matière d’éducation ;
5. Participer à l’amélioration de la situation éducative de la cible.

Eligibilité:

1. Être titulaire d’un BACC/ GCE AL ;
2. Être résident dans la région cible ;
3. Être disponible au moins 5h par jour ;
4. Avoir un accès minimal à Internet en utilisant l’un des terminaux suivants : un Smartphone, un iPhone, une tablette, un ordinateur portable ;
5. S’exprimer parfaitement en français.

Durée du mandat : 3 mois renouvelable selon le besoin

Niveau d’études : Minimum BACC/GCE AL

Langue : français

Expérience : Non.

Rémunération : ce poste n’implique aucun salaire. Toutefois une indemnité mensuelle (25 000 – 100 000 XAF) est payée au volontaire en fonction des résultats sur le terrain.

Background and justification

While the regions of South West and North West, but also the North and Far North are affected by a growing humanitarian crisis caused by the insecurity that has prevailed there since 2016, the organisation Repères Educatifs wishes to set up an action allowing the majority of young people to continue their academic training without fear of the horrors of insecurity. In this perspective, Repères Educatifs has been associated with all the organizations that participate in the work of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) in order to contribute to the support of the populations.

It is within this framework that the Supportive Digital School (SDS) project for South West and North West region was planned. This project aims to encourage children and young people in regions that are unstable or have no material possibility to pursue their academic and vocational training using alternative means with the support of education partners.

There is therefore a need for information and mobilization of the populations in the regions concerned in order to promote schooling or help students to back to school.

Job title: Local Communicator

Number of positions: 10 by mentioned regions

Responsibilities:

1. Collect information on out-of-school youth in the region and particularly those from mentioned regions;
2. Contribute to the development of a database on out-of-school youth in the region;
3. Promote education within a local audience;
4. To be a point of contact between Educational Benchmarks and needy people with an educational need;
5. Contribute to the improvement of the target's educational situation.

Eligibility:

1. Hold an GCE AL or BACC;
2. Be a resident of the target region;
3. Be available at least 5 hours per day;
4. Have minimal access to the Internet using one of the following terminals: a Smartphone, an iPhone, a tablet, a laptop;
5. Speak fluently in English.

Compensation: This position does not involve any salary. However, a monthly allowance (25,000 - 100,000 XAF) is paid to the volunteer based on the results on the ground.
